Yes start a new one, this thread is old....

EDIT: why did you buy unlock code... All I did was acall at&t and they gave me the code.

Dont u have to have a contract with AT&T in order for them to give out phone codes?

dont you live in the US? im sure you'd need an active account with ATT to do such a thing..

No you dont need a contract or active account.

I live in canada. all I did was look up At&t number, call, told them I bought a phone off ebay and it is locked to their network.

They gave me the code.

All mobile companies are suppose to give the unlock code after 1 year of the phone being activated by them.

EDIT : after 6 months I meant...
