Did nokia jump ship too quick on meego? This OS looks promising... Too bad they opted to go with windows phone 7 as their primary OS for their smartphone line

it looks real interesting, would think of buying one only if someone can reassure me of the future of the OS

I will get me one of these. too bad the one witht he keyboard is for devs only. ah well..

All that work for nothing? A niche device is all the N9 will be? SMH. Clearly Nokia is caught between a rock and a hard place. Buying into Windows which must've bound them and now the world responses positively to old Meego and now almost abandoning? Why didn't they believe in Meego all along? Were they so desperate to get a footing in the smartphone world again so as to forge a deal with Nokia? Meego seems so superior to Windows, shame. Might as well they hadn't released anything then.

P.S. Read a post that says this is merely Nokia's version of Meego and not classical Meego.

As I would prefer the n9 having symbian.
I welcome meego as well. It opens alot of doors if used right.
