Found a design flaw in cooling system which may lead to failure of motherboard (GPU).

If not too late, u want to improve the HeatSink-GPU contact...

1) Remove the motherboard.

2) On the CPU section of heatsink (HS) u will c a sponge-like material,
try and get another like it from some old computer,
if u can't find one, i sometimes wrap foil-paper around a 6mm thick cardboard (worry not).

3) Glue/stick the sponge on the bottom-case (near the battery release)
making sure to orient the sponge so it presses against the HS surface as much as possible.

4) U don't need to remove the HS for the mod, but now would be a good time clean HS to apply fresh transfer paste and clean the grill.

There are other models of Acer, Gateway & eMachines with same design issues but jobs i get for them did not allow me to go that area to check for similar.
