Can you tell us the name of the Institution that you are the Networking Teacher at?

This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking; where it is absent, discussion is apt to become worse than useless.

    Question:

I'm doing a BSc in IT(or CS) at UWI. I really love biology but because of some mix ups with my course selections, i will be forced to keep CS as my major. I seem to be doing pretty wel at it but as the previous courses were hard, i had shown little interest in programming so, without further a do, here's my question:-
Am I at serious disadvantage for not doing in CERTS in any computer discipline and will my BSc be enough to get a secure job?

Is there any suggestion on what I should as i'm not familiar with the processes. I would love o meddle a bit in networking/computer repairs/A.I. and/or maybe some software engineering! Thanks much!

electrotechnic, you dont need a bsc to do computer repairs. i would recommend that you get your certs. it will set you apaprt from the crowd when you graduate. you wont be a t a disadvantage if you dont do them. but you will not have an advantage over any other of your peers. also note you shouldnt do some certs now. like ccna, because it expires after 3 years (you would be in 4th year).
