Blackberry Torch my experience

So last night I really sat with a bb torch. My brother's girl friend's torch.

One question, How do you people use that phone? LOL
It was actually funny. Not to make me sound nonprofessional, but I seriously laughed while using the torch.

The Bold 9700 is a much better phone than the torch imo if you want to use a bb. I had a better experience using a storm II.

The phone is so damn slow its not even funny. The screen is terrible. i was wondering if is this most people dieing over.

I handed her my n8 she fell in love with it instantly. I handed her my dell streak she didn't want to give it back.

Torch is ok blackberry 9700 is not better than the torch rubbish uno talking, mabe the battery life is better but nothing else is better. Torch is just another lame blackberry but one of the better ones.

The torch is better with specs. i enjoyed using the 9700 over the torch.

well let's see here. 9700 and 9800 uses same keypad and 9800 has better spec. Your sister likely does crap on the phone and not managing apps well like exit but not close and so u have issues plus her firmware prob one early one. I would advise u get a techy torch and use before u comment or optimise the phone and then use. Your comment about 9700 doesn't add up either since they totally diff in terms of interface unless u comparing same interface which would be keypad and they have the same. Just my opinion.

All she does is bbm, so try again.
I am comparing phones. Which mean user experience.
The torch is a nightmare. Even while browsing the web, the waiting and the waiting and the waiting.

No need to optimize phone. That will make things inaccurate. Stock vs Stock dibble.

Bold 9700 and torch cannot be compared fairly.

The torch IMO was built to mate the storm and bold series into one phone and its has done so wonderfully. Is it a good phone, YES! Is it the best blackberry to date NO! (Bold 9700 is and that's not up for debate).

The torch is also not the most user friendly phone either but all in all, its RIM's effort to rival the Iphone and its a good try.

It matter to who is matters. If you feel ok with a phone you pay good money for and it lacks basic functions then fine.
