Default Best Places to do certification?

yo ppl, i just finished ma bachelors and im out on the job market but bwoy.. tings really tuff (been job hunting for 4 months and not even been short listed) so i want to get some certifications to get a leg up. i want to do CCNA and i got a good price from Heart Academy up stony hill for $65K. i also want to do MCSA or MCITP but not sure where i can do it

i called dotTech for being ma first choice and they told me $1280 per course. dat 2 me is a likkle bit expensive considering im an intern at a PC repair place.

i also called infoserv and they told me they only do the exam and what i want is the full thing

does anyone know a place that offers MCSA or MCITP where i can do all the courses and wont be charged the downpayment on a car? thanks in advance

yo vylle go with heart for the ccna that's where i did mine.. all i have to do now is the external exam and mi set.. i thikin of doin couple other certs too..me and don corleone been tryin to plan out what the next move is since ucc screwed us over -_- and i think mcse is a better option given the fact that more ppl ask for that versus the mcsa (pretty much the same thing in my book tho.. but u can't beat market demand)

afta is me give u dat nick name ute lol

anyway, yeh ute - from what i hear from the account executive from dotTech, MCITP is supposed to be centered around MS Serv08 and seeing as how thats what most ppl using den yeh.. and as i mentioned.. i woulda jus go dere but it 2 expensive

trying to find a place where i can register for MCITP e it but jah know, dont know where to go

based on what i've heard, the only place offering any form of microsoft certification program is dotTech.. no wonder dem prices beyond belief!!

i woulda jus get the package and teach maself b4 doing an exam but from what i hear u need:
-the resource kit (cost $75 us dollars)
    -a 2 port switch
    -two windows workstations

dont have any of that crap @ home.. so i guess home school out of the question

First rule of a techie "the ability to solve technical issues" Druhan just point out how to do your certs for close to $0.00 dollars.
Now I am throwing my much into the pot....if you need pdf's of the MCITP certs link me and I can furnish u wid copies of them. So instead of giving you a fish, I am giving you tools to go catch your own fish.
For the naysayers "these pdf's are from MY M$ Training kits I purchased so I do as I like with them.

from wat i hearing stony hill does the voice training as well but its a demand thing so the more ppl that want it the better the chance of them doing it, i plan on going that way myself when i finish the ccna cause i cant bother with reading on my own, tried that once never work out

don't need resource kit, download the trial for win2k8 and run some Virtual servers like what was suggested. There are a good amount of options for visualizing, depending on what your system specs are.

Although Win2008 Server is the current system in use now, its definitely not the most common yet, that's why the 2003 certs have not been retired.

You say you want to do MCSA? if you are that's 2003 track, and what area you going to specialize in? (don't have to) Exchange server or security?

MCITP can be a combination of exams

Take your IT career to its next destination. Improve your knowledge in one specific technology, earn multiple Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications to show breadth across different products, or build on the MCTS to earn a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification with Microsoft Certification Exam Packs with Second Shots.
again what area you want to get into? programming? Server admin? Network design and implementation? Security? Messaging? Database?

Certs are nice and all to have, but you have to decide before hand, or you end up wasting alot of time
    CompTIA A+ Certified
MCTS - Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist - Server Virtualization
MCSA - Microsoft Certified System Administrator - Messaging

It wasn't me!...........okay it was but you have no right to assume!!
