how so? looks like a driving game and thats about it.

They won't come near gt5 in terms of content. polyphony is even going to convert some of the standard cards to premium quality. They will probably have some new gimmick to please the xbots tho.

The content on GT5 is great yes but I think that too is there downfall, half of the cars look like crop, online game play is nothing to talk about either. Delaying the game just to add more car is a waste they could have done that throught FREE DLC`s.

Gt5 has alot of compy and pasting with name change. Game wasnt delayed to add more cars. it was delayed to improve the physics and stuff. So it could try to match forza team.

I notice xbox games usually get reviewed weeks before street date. How they do online testing only they know.

So ... You gonna mention why you picked one over the other ? Graphically almost identical unless the player has sharp eyes that can see fine details driving at 120mph+ which I still find stupid in NFS titles the blur -_-".. So it's all to do with gameplay ?.

Graphics has nothing to do with it, Forza is simply the better racing simulator. Better Car physics, MUCH more tuning options, truer engine sounds, better online play, the online marketplace also adds a whole other dimension to the game increasing community involvement (people who are very good at tuning will tune and offer their tunes for sale so even if they aren't the best drivers they can get satisfaction in being regarded as the best tuner).

To me personally , this is sorta irrelevant to compare both titles due to massive gap in launch dates ..
It's like everyone comparing a 1 month device to 1 yr old device the whole apple is the benchmark thing ...
For a true benchmark test, I say test and compare them if both launch on the same week at least ..
I love the feel of a Xbox controller but bought the ps3 just mainly for the blu ray player playing games on it was a bonus ,
Kinda wished Sony gave back Linux support ....

usually, id agree with this..but its simply not valid here..

gt5 lacks innovation..the cars sound like lawnmowers, the game was halfassed (with the whole premium cars having proper interiors), gameplay is mediocre at best..

basically, it feels like a more polished gt4, which doesnt say much..

theyve been working on this since the launch of the ps3, whereas forza 4 only took ~2 years to develop...

being a huge fan of SIMULATION racing games, i was ready to gobble up a ps3 if gt5 delivered...but it looks like im gonna have to get me another xbox..i regret selling mine now..
