ok Battle for Middle Eath. Man I am inlove with this game.

I am playing it on a AMD 2000+ with 384mb SDRAM PC-133 and a 64mb graphics card.

the game can be played without hitch on Low detail. I can't put it at medium or else it hitch like hell.

The games is based on the movies it's pretty cool. Now you start out with the fellowship of the ring going through the mines of Moria. You know Gandalf, Sam, Gimli, Frodo, Legolas, Boromir, ARAGORN. Merry, Pipin or something like that.

The members of the fellowship are Heroes.

Aragorn has the ability to heal any heros that are nearby. he also has the ability to summon a small party of Oathbreakers to help you turn the tide of the battle. He also has a master Blade technique that allows him to kill anything in his path without getting injured.

Gandalf has two stages. Gandalf the Grey and Gandalf the White. You need to increase his rank for him to transform into Gandalf the White. Rank increaces with every mission and battle you win and the amount of kills Gandalf gets. Gandalf has the ability Wizard Blast, Lighting Sword another attack that kills anything around him in circle another tha protects him. He is the most complete and the most capable to lead. He can also do hand to hand combat. He also has his favourite horse to ride on.

Boromir He has a horn that when blown makes the enemy afraid for awhile. He is a master fighter. He does not die as in the movie.

Merry and Pipin use elven cloaks to be invisible while standing still they also can fight with the sword and throw stones. Frodo has the same abilityes as them.

Frodo has the additional ability of the Ring that makes him invisible. Only the eye of Sauron and the Nazgul can detect him. Whenever Frodo uses the ring the eye of SAuron appears and searches for him to reveal to the enemy you may remove the ring before the ey finds you. His sword glows when enemy units are near and he has a philial that frightens enemies aways as well.

Legolas This man is mad. He has Hawk strike that fires two arrows at once and he aslo can fight with his two knifes. he can do multiple special abilities at the same time. He also has the Arrow Wind technique to fire arrows rapidly. He also trains archers. Boromir also Trains soldiers.

Gimli He has a Leap attack that when he lands gives off a shockwave that kills or stuns enemies.

One major Draw back is the fact that you don't get to build your wond castle. You are give a stucture tha is partially started the you ad the buildings you need. You have a choice between a farm/slaughter houses etc., stable, armory, Rohan statue (when playing for good), A well, an Archery Range.

Your castle as a centre and it has a citadel that if destroyed you cannot create anymore units or buildings you will need to repair it. The citadel can also create Heroes and if an hero dies in battle you can revive him at the citadel.

The Armory is used for research. The forged blade, Armor etc.
The Rohan Statue reduces the cost for each Hero. The more Statues you have the less the cost of the heroes.
The Well heals troops near to it.
The armory and stable and archery can increase in rank the more you use them. When the rank increases the troops get stronger etc.
Your battalions travel with you throughout the campaign and gain verterancy which equates to more attack power and strength.

Sounds good. Especially since I'm on a AMD1800XP with 256mb DDR and a 64mb GPU.

Reviewers and a close friend who bought it seem to hate it badly. He said it is a RTS-Lite, with hand holding and very basic everything. No strategy, like a pretty dunce. He also said it is inconsistent, where he would kill characters in one mission only to have to fight them again two hours later. He was so pissed he payed money for the game, and he warezed Warhammer, which he now plays exclusively. He has an Alienware Athlon 64 system with a X800 Pro, so he says it is lovely, but thats about it. I saw it and refused to even play it.
