Idea: MMORG for GPRS

I was just thinking, with the popularity or WoW and other MMORPGs; and with the growing market for wireless technology, what do you think about a multiplayer game for mobile users? I was thinking everything from driving games, strategy games as well as RPG’s could be ported to cell phones, PDA’s etc. What do you think, how workable is this idea?

I think so, and it actually sounds like a pretty cool idea. You guys have seen the idea of somthing like a character, that is stored on somthing like a little device, and it has built-in wireless technology, and you could just walk past other ppl which have the device and a battle would b initiated. This would b a really cool idea to have on a phone instead. eh?...


Wow...this idea sounds really promising,.....I think i'm gonna go learn how to program in OPenGL:SMS or whatever the mobile version of this is. SUch a technology over a phone would have MUCH more market penetration that on a standalone device. Maybe this is the kind of market product that devices like the Ngage and the PSP needed....OMG i could make MILLIONS!!!!

Just remember where the idea came from, dude. Thats forever my problem, always have these kool ideas but never get any credit for it.

DOPE!!! oh well, i guess it was the most logical step in the tech evolution.

Question:
Would hosting such a game have to be specific to a particular network, ie, would we have to approach digicel or c&w to allow access from either there network; or, could we simply have a wap enabled site that persons from either network could access and interact in the same online world?
