You need a PS2 controller to USB adapter, like this one:

Got mine at Nintendo's and Playstations in Montego Bay. I had to be constantly going to them for almost 2 years until they finally got someone to bring it down for me, as they take orders.

Since I got it I haven't changed controllers, of which I usually change every few months, and I even found a force feedback driver for it that works with all games and emulators that support it.

You can get it online though, if you can get access to a credit card and order it, or try your luck in the gameshops.

Where can I get this and about whats the cost?I did a google search for "playstation 2 to usb adapter". Saw some at amazon for $15.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/USB-PlayStation-Controller-Adapter-PC/dp/B0009J1JAW
http://www.amazon.com/Playstation-2-PC-USB-Gamepad-Converter/dp/B000F6BGXY

Lots more on that page.

Play.com version seems like a recommended one, but dunno where you would get it.

You will have to google around.

Got one off amazon for U$2 the shipping to Ja was another story. The new games are designed for xbox controls so if you plan on using it for games like dead space, POP etc be sure to get the xbox 360 control emulator.

I bought one at radioshack in the USA. should be easy enough for anyone to find. You can used 2 of them at the same time too. They all look different but work basically the same way

You can get them at royal computers Twin gates and pavilion. The catch is you will have to search and locate it for yourself in the display cases if you ask the attendants they will tell you they either don't have or don't know what your are talking about.

The floor staff there can't even tell a monitor from a Mellon. Bought one there last month.

BTW have you ever tried a xbox 360 controller on the pc? I have been using one for a while and it is far superior to the ps2 controller (cant believe am saying this). The driver is pretty easy to find online and it usually does not require any config for modern games.

Thanks I will have to check out Royal, I already have 4 ps2 controller so I wouldn't want to have to buy a xbox controller just for the pc.

Really didn't know that as I play mostly FPS and racing games. I am gonna try out a few fighting game to verify. Played Devil may cry 4 and it was excellent at handling that.

i dunno owen, must say i am quite used to XBOX controller in SF4, so much that i actually prefer it when playing on ma PC over using the PS2 controllers i got. the reason why i say this though is because of the position of the analog stick, its actually quite effective considering if u going to play as Zangief :D

I find the the xbox 360 wireless controller is the best to use on new games simple because games normally come pre-configured for the 360 controller. Turn on the controller the game will automatically detect it.

Along with this, it can be used as PC remote....(Maybe i should post tutorial on how to do this)

You will need to buy a Microsoft Wireless connectivity device. which can connect 4 controllers. It can also connect headset, car steering and other special wireless devices simultaneously.

The PS2 controller is good but i quit cumbersome to setup nowadays. Although I would recommend is for most fighting games. Or the Madcats version of the xbox360 controller with the bottoms for a d-pad (the street fighter version is great).
