I have been using this program for a little while and thought I would share it with you guys.
A program called Whatpulse tracks how many keys you press, how many mouse clicks you click and how many scrolls you use with the scroll bar on your mouse (if your mouse has a scroll bar).
In addition to counting your mouse clicks and key presses, you can also submit it to a central site which keeps a total of how many you have pressed, clicked and scroll.
You can also join a team a compete against other teams.

Here at my work, we would probably run into the hundreds of thousands.
In one of our accounts, a keyer can do 7000 key strokes an hour.
This single account has about 150 keyers. You do the math. :o

Sorry for raising a dead thread but I knew I had posted this years ago.
The original program that I posted died, but I found a new program which has been around for a while.
It's called Whatpulse. http://whatpulse.org
Program is small, only takes 2mb of memory. There is a linux version as well.

It always amazes me when I go to the airport. I hand my ticket to the agent, she proceeds to type enough keystrokes to rewrite the bible, and then she turns to me and says 'where are you flying to today?'

Usability, what if you are working on a project and needed to reduce the number to key strokes? Would be easier than manually keeping track.
