I just saw the most interesting piece of news of CNN aka NANN (North American News Network)... it was a report called "Exporting America"

The essence of the entire report was that so much of US tech has been exported that tech manufactured/produced in China was now "catching up" with the technology available in the US, so much so that they are beginning to think of the move as a "threat to national security" ... add to that the fact that at least one military manufacturer Magna..suppm (they make the magnets that make the US smart bombs work) has decided to close its factory in the US and move it to China, .. and what you get is a petition to the govt. to prohibit the company's move.

though alot of the concern is understandable when you consider the fragile nature of international "peace" currently, esp. in the face of Bush's war on terrorism.. the fact that you can have that as a side story to... Hey a small-fry is catching up to our tech!!! - is almost as shocking as when they broadcasted how flabergasted and dismayed they were that 70% of their teens did not think that the American culture was superior to all others (after the infamous 9-11 - which now has an official definition by the way ;))

lemme know what you think.. and even better.. if they can pull something like this on China... where does that leave us..

*** to think... they helped make that 5 yr. plan... no wonder it was crap!! ***

It's more like the Coalition News Network. They are about as biased a news network as I have ever seen. It's hard to believe anything that's reported no matter how true it may seem. But labour is cheaper in china and the people in the US aren't the only smart people in the world (thankfully).
