So i have this BB 8320 and the battery is charged and all but yet the handset is telling me that the batter is dead, which cant be possible because i tried it in another 8320 and it works fine and i've tried other batteries and they still don't work when i know for a fact that they are good.... i got the error battery drained shutting down handheld

It seems as if something is one with your BB. See if you can carry it in to a dealer to get it checked out.

something is preventing your battery to be connected to the port to give the phone power. Do it oldskool style, get piece of paper and try fill any gaps or do what Collcoll said.

lol ya know how Jamaican ppl stay they see blackberry and think money .. imagine how much it would cost to fix :O

Ave u eva tried another charger on ur device though or urs on another person's device cause it could also b sumthing wid di charger or di charging port... dont think it is di handset itself.......:(

If it is bought from Digicel, den it will charge him nuthing also if he is using Digicel's service and di handset was not bought from dem di Blackberry Specialist on dem 7th floor inside RKA will sort him out propa wid out any charge cause dem want him fi stay on dem service and network.... Trust me I do it and it was dun b4.... Do it yute and tell me wat happens......:eusa_clap

Breda its not the charger port, it charges the battery but the thing is the phone can't tell when the battery is charged...

Suh yute is it a carrier purchased handset or a from ovaseas??? Anyhow if u stop inna Digicel head office dem will check it out and di cause cost free 2 u.... Dis is because dem want u pon dem network using dem BBerry service as dis is more revenue 2 dem........

well the only place this phone will be going is in the classifieds cheap cheap.. can'ttake problems
