Sorry for taking so long to respond but my computer was offline for about a week due to system upgrades.
Anyways I have it installed on my Bold and frankly it's pretty cool and convenient, however I have an issue where I strongly believe the data is not current and alot of the places I have checked out on it in the Portmore area are showing pre-development layouts.....which leaves much to be desired in this product.....Anyways at the end of the day its
FREE and it does show off the GPS functionality on the BOLD.
I would recommend a download.

Latitude works fairly accurately to 3 meters however notice when at uwi very inaccurate. Also on latitude on I can see where others are and show them where I am. Searched for Jps showed where it was and gave me the phone number also.

Ha ha....Google Latitude will only show his last location based on where he last had some form of blackberry or wifi connection which means until he has internet access we will continue to see him at the airport....is either that or him renting a room at the airport bathroom.

i know its stupid to have a blackberry without the plan, but as it shows in my profile i am a student and i don't work, i got this phone as a birthday present from my parents and i don't want to really bombard them with more expenses.

Wolffy the battery holds up flawlessly on the Bold while on wifi....It performs just as good as Symbian phones and I am not just saying this cause I am Blackberry addict but I use my wifi constantly on the phone and the battery barely moves even when I am playing internet radio on Flycast.

^^ Endorsed... I remember one night I wanted to completely drain my Battery it was @ 20 something %.... I turned on WiFi and was on youtube and my God would the battery level ever go down...after about 1hr it was at 18%... I was like to hell with this... I didn't have the patience anymore. The Berry is really impressive with WiFi and its power consumption.

I agree, when I was away I had to depend on wifi to be in touch and usage wasn't as bad as I expected to be.
