BB 8120 Help

ive got a 8120 rite...and from what ive read all i need 2 do is to register the phone (via data plan) in order for me to use the wifi to use the apps

now ive registered the phone by going on the 7 day data plan through digicel and now the 7 days has elapsed

now i cant use the apps (fbook...msn...and BB msngr) via wifi
wtf is the problem??

Ok whats happening is that the phone is still using the blackberry messenger as its main means of connection, what you need to do is to is to select wifi as main means of connection.
Cause i know if ur 7 days elapsed as you put it, you wouldnt be appl to use the apps you want via blackberry messenger.

i put the wifi as the default connection...i get to browse the net using the default browser and thats about it...didnt get the last part of what u said :icon_conf

Last part not relevant what i need you to do next is a battery pull and then try again since you get the wifi as the default.

You sure him not blocked by the server for lack of activation?

You can't use wifi for facebook, msn, yahoo, googletalk and blackberry messenger. The apps can only be used with an active BIS service offered by LIME or DIGI

Of course you won't be able to use those aps via wifi. Those are bb service aps. You need a bb plan

u need da bb plan to use those apps ...onli ting u can do wid wifi is browse so no bbm/facebook/msn/yahoo etc...

Is that so? i never knew this. So why the hell you guys fighting over wifi? wifi makes no sense then.

Browsing probably!! Couldnt tell last time I use ma wifi as nothing is sweeter than ma ipod right now to do that never saw the storm so don't know about it and browsing when I had 8300 I didn't miss it at all
