trust me i know, but the one thing that would hurt me is i had my digicel sim card from i was in 4th form thats like ... long time now, so if i should change ma num nuff people wouldn't be able to contact me. normally when ma high school friends fly back in them can just dial my old num and get me so i cant' change ma num because of that.

Come on, be real. What you are saying, is that you willing to stick to crap if you feel you're getting it?
Anyway, there are several ways that you can change your number and people can still contact you using your old number. One example, just place a voice message on your old number and redirect your callers to the new one. This make just require you to top-up your account twice for 1 year. After which, boy, just send them some emails and IM with your new number.

Divert calls will cost you! I was just suggesting something that would be really cheaper and still keep in touch.
Over the years I have switch between different providers and still keep in excellent contact with my hundreds of contacts.
