Iphone Data Support in Jamaica I need an Alternative to Claro

Yeah I need some help guys. Thinking bout the Iphone but with the EXPENSIVE data support from Claro I need another alternative....Therefore all suggestions are welcome and by this I am not talking about using Wifi and hotspots....I am strickly referring to what Digicel or LIME will offer me with more emphasis on LIME's unlimited data access for $1750 with tax capped at 250mb per month.

N.B. I hear the Iphone can be jailbroken to work with Lime's network plus get data and stuff so could you all explain this some more for me.

Also is there Msn & Yahoo messengers for the Iphone? Oh, does the iphone support HTML emails and creating inboxes on the device similar to the Blackberry?

3G iPhone you have boss? I can set up ur phone app wise and give you the best instant messaging app that supports yahoo msn googletalk etc. DO NOT install the most recent update though, or u'll be outa luck.

Re emails, the default app works great for most but doesnt support hotmail, I can give you a dedicated app for hotmail emails as well.

Unlocked yes... Jailbreaking the iPhone simply means you can put non-Apple apps on it.

As for MSN & Yahoo messengers... yes there are some out there. I personally use an app called Beejive; it's available only on the official Apple App Store.

As for HTML email... it's a better experience than what I have seen on the Blackberries. Including the ability to create different mailing accounts, etc.

LIME or DIGICEL will never have products tailored for a unit that they do not sell !!!. So until LIME or Digicel get the rights to the iphone, then you will have to use unofficial products
