There is a software from RIM that allows mobile device which use Windows Mobile OS to use the BIS service, push email and all. Its called Blackberry Connect...Not sure of anything else for any other type of phone

lawks man a never was referring to bbconnect. i mean actual internet settings. bbconnect is crap interface compared t real bb phone email appearance so better to have unlimited settings and then use like seven services on ur winmo device or just get iphone or other phone with decent email client.

Even if you got the blackberry connect app on your Iphone the cost is still going to be an issue with Digicel....
Phones other than blackberry HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DATA....ONLY UNLIMITED E-MAIL IS OFFERED.
I had that challenge when I had my SE P1 that came with blackberry connect on it.
SO AS CLOUD SAID....READ NO FURTHER:eusa_whis

i have an iphone 2 and was wondering the same thing. i presently use Digi and have 2 pay that ridicules rate with internet. I wonder why they don't allow the unlimited for other hi end phones.
BTW The iphone is one wickedly mad phone, i would never trade it for a Black Berry. It is one of the most advance phones today, more like a laptop in your hand. There are a few short comings, but even with those its still impressive.

I have no doubt that the Iphone is a good phone.....it just isn't practical to have it in JA IMO...I say this because the true beauty is having that phone online and using an unlimited data service...
Similarly, it makes no sense to have a BB without the service as it opens a whole new ball game for users.

Guys I am curious....does LIME support the Iphone? I mean if I should enter the LIME GPRS settings on the iphone with the unlimited blue data chip.....will it connect? Reason being LIME supports Win mo phones just like that once you know the settings so I am figuring it would be the same if you should enter the settings on the Iphone and stick to the $1750 unlimited data package which coincidentally is capped at 250mb....go figure?
