does digicel filter email?

Hey guys, I was sending some midi files to my phone, by emailing to my mms account. i was using yahoo to email it. i used to do it alot, but haven't in about 4 months. today when i tried it, i got my mail returned by digicel saying that they don't allow emails with .mid extensions. are there any other filters that digicel has set that you peeps know about? how can i email ringtones to myself now? its so much easier to download them to my comp and then email them.

ok well i'm receiving it now, not sure what the prob was b4, its the same email, i just forwarded it

oops, nope, i got it, but i received it as a .txt file instaed of .midi hmm, i didn't even know they could do that

ok tried it again and this is the message i got, "Enclosed message rejected due to unsupported content type.::ContentType audio/mid is not supported"

Oh ok, just checking. Is it only yahoo that has ever worked for u? Have u tried using outlook, and it wouldnt surprise me if Digicel is indeed blocking u from sending a midi file.

i've tried, hotmail, never tried outlook

what i did was sent an mms to my email, and it came as that address, so i just kept on using it ever since

Try the address i just sent u and tell me what happens

you have mmcdigiceljamaica, shouldn't that be mmc.digiceljamaica

nope this time, yahoo returns it saying "the host does not like the recipient"

listen man, forget digicel they' really suck. forget them and go get some c and w in you life, digicell sucks. [suck at customer care [ the robots they call people ], suck at service as of late, suck at prices [too damn expensive] i say no more digicel, they've apparanly made enough money and are comfortable now, so they need not satisfy the customers ne more ]

i don't use wap enough to pay 6 bills per month to download ringtones

well, i'm a wapaholic, use it at home and on the road with ma laptop and use it when i'm in busses to connect to msn etc, gotta love gprs.
