(LIME)Blackberry Bold sold out ISLANDWIDE

This seem to be one of the quickest and biggest promo for c&w/lime . It started sometime ago but it finish before christmas.

I have been doing some checks for the BB bold but nobody seem to have it in stock. All the stores saying it's finish and they dont know abt getting anymore

This seem to finish too quick still... All now me nh get my own.

anybody know if they bringing in more phones?

i got to understand that there is a shortage for the product worldwide....

Check Lime New Kingston, the one beside Digicel on Knutsford Boulevard as I went there Saturday and they had quite a few in stock.

i would say digicel but they presently have one going on now that benefit the persons that always had a BB but didnt have a plan..

Hv_Thugg I was there Saturday looking a case for my Curve and the rep. had one selling. I even looked at the phone during the demo but said to myself that the 24 month contract was a turnoff at $2500 plus tax for the cheapest data/voice plan. Anyways I guess this was a BACK DOOR transaction cause the customer said in the week she woul pickup and I am sure what I saw and heard was correct.

The rep said it was for 28k which was half the original price. Frankly though Lime not losing cause they buy buying the Bolds' in bulk, making a killing off the 2 year contract not to mention if you break the contract before the 2 year ends then you have to find the other half of the money for the Bold........Sounds like a Marriage to me between little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf.

Once the contract details suit your needs then i don't see the big deal. Two years isn't all that long if you ask me. That's pretty much standard in the developed countries.

Well i can only speak for Digicel. The Bolds are almost out of stock islandwide. Yes what they are indeed doing is taking orders for them. Some stores have a list where you can add your contact info to be notified when they arrive. But trust me, you won't. Postpaid customers are get first choice and the only way you can be guaranteed a Bold from Digicel right now is to order and pay for it on spot and get it 1-7 business days time.

I wouldn't really say there's a shortage still I just think that BB/RIM made a concised amount of them and the demand became greater so what they may do is make more and put a higher price tag on them

Stopped by the LIME store on HWT rd. They said they will have some in january and the Promotion will still be on.

Not sure how true that is tho because its a rep that told me that.
