SE T230 Digicel Gprs

I am configuring a SE t230 a modem to use digicel gprs service. I am able to establish a connection how ever the phone shows the folowing error:


gprs parameters unsupported

I am unable to browse from the pc. I would like to know if anyone knows what the correct gprs settngs are for Digicel. I have searched the forum and so far I am unable to browse.

U do have GPRS provisioned?
If true go to where u edit data accounts (Not services). Then edit the APN and put web.digiceljamaica.com instead of wap.digiceljamaica.com. That was the solution to mine. Also I think they already posted the answer somewhere here. so search (http://www.techjamaica.com/forums/search.php?) next time.

Else get GPRS provisioned and talked to Digi customer care.

All u need is the apn i think u are entering an ip address that is why u get errors

DId changing the apn work all u need to do is create a data account and put in the apn web.digiceljamaica.com and remember what spot it is in; cid=1 2 3.......

I had the APn wrong it is now web.digiceljamaica.com. Do I also need to leave the DNS address blank? It's still not working. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

no dns nor ip. Were you using WAP before trying to use the phone as a modem?

another thing. what error do u get when u change the apn? does it log on?
