tcp apps on blackberry ( digicel )

anyone have 3rd party apps that just dont seem to work? i get this error for 2 apps that i just downloaded on my NEW BB curve 8310 ( 4.5 ++ OS ).

error: tunnel timed out

i google the error and people are saying to set the APN in options> TCP.

is that correct even though i have a BIS plan.

anyways i still tried to enter the APN settings:
wap.digiceljamaica.com
user: wapuser
pass: wap03jam

still didnt work, does digi need to put apn on my acct?

Try just entering "web.digiceljamaica.com" for your APN and leaving password and username blank. Several apps will only use those tcp settings example of this is Opera Mini

i'll try it out.. opera works nice and i have no apn settings.

it worked but that APN charges. ergggguhh

why would it only work with that APN, and i have bb unlimited data service.. hmmm

I'm having trouble accessing my hotspot @ home on my BB 8320, somebody help!!! I keep gettin a unable to access requested server and a connection terminated message.
