i think digicel has streaming block. i have no luck at all....
or maybe its just my phone, has anyone got streaming to work? like youtube

no but i can watch some mini videos of tinytube.net and other sites but it seems the browser downloads the video first then plays it... hardly streaming if ya ask me...

I can stream content just fine from youtube you just need to upgrade to the 4.5 OS

well i am yet to see the streaming video even with the update on both the curve and the pearl. Has anyone been successful with that?

I have a BB 8320 having problems with it but no streaming no where in sight.

Digicel blocks streaming. Its working fine on bmobile network, its been ever since 2004 or so. Jus buy a 100 credit and test it....

I asked one of my co-worker who has a curve and he said he has not been able to stream anything

Well if u had blackberry OS 4.5 you would be able to stream thats all there is to it
Get OS 4.5!!!! I have it and i have been able to stream for months now BUT u will not be able to stream over digicel network its just too slow

That's true my brother was trying unsuccessfully to stream with his digicel SE K700 and Samsung G600 phones.Even with EDGE they are not still offering Streaming. While i can simply stream (audio) with my work horse SE J300
on the bmobile network.

streaming has actually worked before for me across digicel's edge network ....im running OS 4.5.0.69

what blackberry do you have kingpin?
i have curve 8310 with latest OS 4.5.0.55.
and nothing will stream audio or video.. it just brings up the mediaplayer but nothing loads.

I have an 8320 curve....Ive just tried streaming from youtube just now and it didnt work ...but I can assure you it has worked before

Streaming works if you install OS 4.5
And really only if you have wifi enabled...otherwise you wont have the bandwidth for youtube. I do have a blackberry curve 8320 for sale with both wifi and 4.5 installed by the way. I have a post in the items for sale section.
I have been able to stream over GPRS but it takes FOREVER to load the first frame. If you have WIFI at home or you're at a hotspot, it works beautifully.
