I am thinking of getting my toes wet with as it relates to blackberry development. Do any one have any info as it relates to:

1. Do i have to pay a registration fee and how much to be accepted as a blackberry developer.
2. Will the blackberry platform allow me to test application on the phone or its tied down like apple.
3. Do i have to make blackberry sell my apps for me like apple app store or can i do it my self.
4. Any good site to get additional info about tools, sdk and code snippets etc.

Thank you.
