wap setting for my digicel black berry pearl 8100

i called degicel customer care and ask if they could send the wap setting to my phone but they told me that i have to be a post paid customer so i am wondering if any one could send me the setting

you just need to provision your simcard for internet and try again, or try searching the forum, there is information about it posted here already.

according to what i kno . u cant use regular gprs on it only the one from the blackebbery service u can work around it but its tricky process an may not work at all

it should be able to work bro. i know someone who was using internet without blackberry connect... will check and verify of how to actually configure it.

All i did was to enter the APN, wapuser an password and it worked for me on my blackberry.

yes correct will work using tcp port. very stressful on the phone resources browsing via tcp.

i have internet on my BBP 8100, from digicel... ok in TCP some people make mistake to put in wap.digiceljamaica.com for APN... correct one Web.digiceljamaica.com

U/Name: wapuser
P/word: wap03jam

and thats it..

wap.digi/ will not work with the blackberry pearl...

jus go post paid and done because it makes no sense have a blackberry and not go post paid, me and ma girl did it and now we talk to each other on msn and blackberry messenger
