Sup yardies? :eusa_booh

I've been trying to connect my PC through the T226 C&W modem for a week! I was following the posts here but I was led a stray :icon_eek: . Anyways I finally struck gold this morning at 4:00am.

The correct steps are:
1. Install the T200 modem driver and configure it (use 9600 speed and no +CGDCONT:1,"IP","Internet" crap required)
2. Configure the t226 for internet by connect>data comm.>data accounts>wap>edit>APN and type "internet" or press yes at idle screen and press 8>2>1>yes>1>1>type "internet"
3. Setup an internet account (no psswd or usrnme required) with dial-up number *98*1#. Press dial and "shizzzle!!!" :icon_lol:

the dial up number is *99**1# and not 98 depending on the profile u set your wap at. your simcard also needs to be provisioned with GPRS. ensure u can browse from the phone before u try set up the gprs connection on a pc or laptop. ensure that the driver for the cable is installed and that the modem .INF is installed.

u laugh ryan-ice, serious thing so dont let that fool u if u see it connected at that speed and u must remember that it is basically a satelite connection so it tends to have a longer linger time

I have mine at 115.2Kbps too and i know that's only a dream.

Another thing, i use wap on my phone from time to time and i set the wap profile as CID 1. So my profile to connect to the internet is CID 2, so the number that i have to dial to connect so that it connects using the 2nd profile settings is *99***2# (three asterisks, not two allgsm).
