Thought this would have worked, but it seems a pass-thru conection to a PC is the only viable solution, since the app has no options to configure a proxy (needed for Digicel).
Would really be nice to be able to login to the various chat systems while on the road. :-(

I tried this many times. The only times it works is when I was connected to the pc via bluetooth, but the pc had to be connected to the net. Using only gprs from the phone it will never connect.

You can connect to MSN Messenger on a wap enabled phone. The site is
http://start.e-messenger.net/wap/
It doesn't beat the real thing but i've had a few conversations using it.

I've been accessing the messenger site from wap 1.2.1 phones. The site should work on all wap enabled phones as far as i know.

What's a torrent client?
I see that C&W has an email client for cell phones? Does anyone use it? Would it be worth it? Is that similar to a torrent client?
