The 3G iPhone will be announced June 9, the likely date of Apple CEO Steve Jobs' keynote at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference, analysts said in research notes on Thursday.

The 3G iPhone will be the "first of an impressive wave of new products" from Apple, wrote Citi analysts Richard Gardner and Yeechang Lee. They also expect an updated Mac laptop and iPod lines. The Apple conference is scheduled for June 9-13 in San Francisco.

In addition to a 3G iPhone release in early June, the 2.5G model could have a "minor casing change" and a price drop to between US$299 and $349, compared to the current $399, wrote Shaw Wu, an analyst with American Technology Research, in a research report.

Umm that was a good point very good poitn but ppl will be able to afford based on the plans the companies are making they did a test run on the gsm system with the 3g and it fail this is why theyr implementing the cdma system, With the cdma system there streaming will be much cheaper and better for them hence the price reduction of the 3g it will run persons my guestimate about 1800 a month my guestimate. (This was why there tv on the phones fail) 3g over the gsm was 2 expensive.

Well people do spend those big money and not buying a car.....cuz dem realize seh a car would cost dem too much more.....to maintain it....gas....pay mechanic to fix any fault....insure it....it might not be an easy task....I have seen on this site where some of you guys spend over 50k for a phone...and wondering if some of those same person owns a car.

that's what I was telling u some te ago that the n96 specs state the battery to be the 950 one like one the original n95. If they do this that's gonna be a big mistake on their part. What I wanna know though is the official specs of the new iPhone and not what people expecting.

No better reason I think. Totally agree with this but anyways why fuss so much bout bluetoothing songs. I could understand if it was business docs or other things. Most here can just go to the comp and put miriads on their phones etc.

Allot of SE phones have all the features u desire, yet they still get poor ratings and are crappy as hell ... them even try capture the cam phone market with the cybershot phones, they failed people still dont flock to SE lol, now them jump gone into walkman phone, still crappy ... and now finally them decide to go fully into a PDA phone, dont you see them fishing around lol, features are nice but if you cant deliver it in a good product it aint worth *****..

the iphone faults is nothing to fuss about cause you and me know they will iron them out cause as you can see with your bias eyes, the iphone design and UI is almost flawless ... and those are the key things that sell a good product.. not friggin fm radio

I am sure Cultus and others here know you speaking a load of crap. SE's Cybershot and Walkman never did anything huh? I think you need to check your stats young bwoy. Those phones upon their release sparked a lot of interest and for a long time 'til recently SE had the best MP3 and camera phones.

It's so funny how you would easily forget the recent past all in the name of ranting. Check your "facts" youth, the Cybershot and Walkman lines were all once best sellers. And even today, they still hold their own. The first Cybershot the K750, was the best in it's class, The W800 was a show stopper too being the music twin of the Cybershot. Later on derivatives such as W810 caused quite a stir and the K800 became one of the best in it's class too if not the best until later releases by other manufacturer's with refined cams dethroned it.

I have no issue with you wanting to hate on SE I mean if that's where you want to put your energy but when it comes to facts I will call you out on that.
