I'm using Sony Ericsson's DUN Wizard to try and connect my laptop to the net via the t226 and I keep getting stuck at the above screen. I've read most of the posts about the t226 and have tried all the suggestions from setting up the connection manually to using the Panasonic Connection Manager.
Can anybody who has actually connected with this particular phone walk me through the process, or point me in the direction of something that does.
Thanks in advance.

You may need to check if the cable driver is installed Shaft

if the data cable and phone is installed correctly then on trouble.
go to start, Connect to, show all connection, create a new connection, and all u have to enter is the dialling # phone number : *99# ,no u/name and no p/word
i am using the sony ericssion T316, and all did was to install data cable and modem driver. no dial-up wizard needed speed every good love it! love it! love it!!

and i used the manual setup
ie. phone #- *99 etc.
init string- +CGDCONT=1,"IP","Internet"

hey wats up everyone,
right now i'm using the t226on my pc and i have used it on my cousins laptop both sucessfully !!! BUT its so dam slowwwwwww.
when installing mine(both laptop n pc) xp automatically detected my cable and i went throught the "phone and modem options" to install the drivers for the phone modem. I then went to my system configuration window and checked that both were on the same com port.
seeing that it was on the same, i went back in the "phone and modem" option and did the modem diagnostic test just to ensure it was communicating with it.
afterward i created my connection (not using the Sony Ericsson's DUN Wizard).
the setting mentioned above :-
phone *99#
init string- +CGDCONT=1,"IP","Internet"
is wat i used.
it connects at 115kbs but it runs so dam slow.
dont know if this will b of any assistance

I'm using the T226 right now. The speed varies. But i never download files faster than about 3.5Kbps. Web surfing is about the same as dial up. It does have its sluggish times though.

well, im not gonna lie, i dont have a problem signing into my msn and yahoo messenger but if i have something downloading, i may have to stop it jus so i can sign into msn messenger. I don't have any problems sigining in with yahoo messenger. If when msn msg signs in and im still downloading, when ever im chatting to my buddies, it take a nice little while for em to receive the message. Yes Swollen_i dat has to be kept on a down low !!!!

I've never had a problem using messenger and browsing or downloading using my gprs connection. Its just that the download might be slower than normal.

Well Marlonxp, it is the t200 drivers which i think most persons got with the cable (both the drivers for the cable and for the internal modem). As for u 24hrs, saying that "download might be slower than normal" is just putting it too soft!!! The thing downloads at apprx 1.8 kbs, wat download speeds do u get ???
