can someone hack into windows ce?

i've got a pocket pc, and when i connect it to my PC to synchronize etc., it is actually connected to the Net through my PC .. so my question is, can someone hack in, the same way they would probe a particular ip address, drop trojans on open ports etc.

or, is it a case where i am connecting through my pc which already has a firewall so i should be safe? i noticed that it has the same ip address as my PC.

My limited experience with mobile devices using Windows CE is that they are pretty much smaller versions of the real thing which makes them just as susceptible.

I'm with Edge, Win CE is a trimmed down version of the desktop version of Windows and as such I would treat it with the same security gloves as Windows for the desktop. I'd suggest that you regularly visit the device's support website for any OS updates or patches.
