Does anybody know if cable and wireless has found a way to stop PC activity with the motorola c332, because since last friday i have not been able to visit any web pages, except a few, but i have to keep refreshing until it finally comes, then it still dosent load properly.
Anybody know why this happening?? tell me, cuz they seem have found a way to stop PC activity.

I think you're asking if C&W has found a way to control access to their GPRS services, not the connection between PC & Phone.
If that's so.. i believe it's a paid service so if you have no credit then you have no net. :D

No thats not it. I have credit on the phone and everything. But its just not accessing any web pages when i connect with it to the PC. (the problem aint on my part, at least i dont think so)

In a previous post someone commented that C&W where in the process of upgrading thier GPRS system...I am not sure if this has been colpeted as yet or the changes that took place...

k.. well then t's seems like a connectivity issue.
Remember GPRS works by sending large packets of data at a time.. so the connection isn't really constant... it works by trying to buffer the flow of data kinda.. so it'll send 2K.. the when 1K is processed it'll ask for another 2K so that you experience SHOULD seem undisturbed. Problems generally arise when there's a delay in an incoming chunk.. your connection may even timeout...
just keep refreshing.. and last bet.. call CWJ

I hear u. But it usually browse faster than that. I didnt have to keep on refreshing just to get to a site (even GOOGLE). probably i better call CWJ and ask them whats going on.

if thats what your saying i think i read something about cable and wireless doing some updates/upgrades to thier gprs network. so maybe thats the cause of it, or maybe its the network load, i mean look at how digicel used to work, i mean sometimes you couldn't even connect to google no matter how hard you try. i guess gprs wasn't made to use on a widescale basis as we're trying to do here in jamaica.

For real still. Maybe it wasnt meant to be use the way we want to use it.

C&W's GPRS is running somewhat better than it was a few days ago, but not like it was in the begining.
