currently at my work place I can get a Radeon HD2900XT 512MB for less than 300USD including shipping, Do you guys think I should sell my current nvidia?

Well it depends on the specs of you current Nvidia which you haven't stated

post both specs the two video card nvidia and radeon

Well I kinda like the idea of having HDMI video card, cause I have a lcd tv with supporting 1080P

well honestly after reading benchmarks originally the two cards were on par but after some drivers the ati seems to be way better now comeing behind the 8800ultra

Same here.....I don't really like Radeon.....prefer to use Nvidia.
But if you feel comfortable buying it and if you haven't had problem with one before (or should I say, your friends never had a problem with Radeon), then buy it.
By the way, ddoes Nvidia have 512mb video card? If so, whats the price like?

all of my previous video cards, are all nvidia, plus my bro laptop even uses nvidia. I think am going to wait until the real DX 10 dames like crysis and quake comes out.

im ah behonest with u ive been on both sides of the fence n honestly i prefer ati more when it comes to image quality
but dont get me wrong nvidia is very good too but from what i knwo ati has a bit stronger performance here n better image qualityso id go ati in this case if u had the 8800gtx id say it makes no sence at all
