I wish there was some sort of training seminar on DirectX 9 & 10
Particularly:
Microsoft XNA Game Studio Express 1.0 (A cool studio that uses dx9)
DirectX Software Development Kit (Cool starter demos and code)
DirectX 10 Pipeline (An appreciation of DirectX)
Some hands on demo experience so that the audience does not fall asleep, maybe bring out a XBOX360:icon_roll
