ALTHOUGH WE knew that Vista sales were mixed for Microsoft, according to Reuters there appears to be a drift backwards to XP
go read it your own damn self ... not copy pasting all of it (http://www.theinq.com/default.aspx?article=41115)

that aintt suprising to me since vista is like a weak heart. You cant do any rugged and tricked out stuff or else you get failure. It think microsoft is salving day and night to ensure that the sp1 that comes out is gonna fix alot of bugs.
Im gonna bet that when the sp1 comes out its gonna be a large file like 700-1gb.

For the majority of consumers XP will do just fine. Vista still has its issues to work out and yes I was one of those who delayed going to XP for quite a while.... It was out for at least 1 year before I started using it on my own PC.

Personally I don't have a problem with Vista (using the 64bit version, which in likelyhood should amplify any problems).
From a business perspective I can understand the delay since it would reak havoc on the business interest/productivity, and waiting on a service pack would be prudent given the consequences, but for the average and individual tech user..I'd say really go ahead. Even more so for the tech who usually has a dual boot setup or can implement one as a precaution, just like I have.
It is the future, like it or not.
