Office 2K Issues!!

Has anyone ever come across this situtation, and if so how was it resolved?

A friend called me about an office2k problem she has on her laptop:
Office 2K on Win2K and after starting up any office application it stays open for a couple seconds then closes!!

Thus one is unable to use any of the applications!!

Any suggestions as to what could have caused her progs to do that?

Collin, it looks like the problem may be with some serial numbers. It's likely that the Win2K might be ok but the serial number used to install the Office2K however may be the problem.

What's the solution? Tell them to try uninstalling the Office 2K and re-installing with the proper serial numbers ;).

Issue was resolved by purchasing a legal copy of Office XP and installing/activating it!! ;D
