BTW i am putting together my clan to go and i would like to know wat amount of ppl should i put together. I realize that the sizes vary for the clans so i wanna know wats an ideal number

the min. amount at the lan party is 3 and the max. is 5, and an extra person for backup, so 5 or 6 is a good number.

just incase some one hurt a finger ;D, well your clan can have any amount of players or teams (to increwase your chances but no duplication of player) however each team as a max of 5 playing members, min of 3.
