So my moms want to carry her little games she has, on her SanDisk Cruzer Mircro (http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item(1922)-SDCZ6-2048-SanDisk_Cruzer_Micro_2GB_Black.aspx) flash drive. She would like to be able to play her games on any pc she goes to, without having the games installed on only 1 pc.
I doubt it will work, but if I installed the games on the flash drive, will it be able to run from the flash drive? I am thinking the games use the registry to store some kind of data.
I know this flash drive comes with a U3 software that allows to run and install U3 compatible software directly from the flash drive. But these games are not U3 compatible. Just regular exe's.
Any thoughts?

Seems they store the registration code (after you pay for it) in the registry. So it seems she will have to enter in the code each time, on each pc.

Nice app. Just that it only works well with programs that don't require registry changes.
Seems I can't get around the registry issue, so the programs will just have to use the registry on each pc she plays the games on.

Most apps do that, anything you install change teh registry,
best thing is try it out and see ... you never know, it just might work

Try copying the game's installation directory from Program Files directory to the flash drive then run the executable file. I tested it with Big Money and Book Worm from www.popcap.com and they worked fine on another machine.
Since popcap games are similar to gamehouse and bigfish games, they might work using the above mentioned method.
