It transmits 1 byte after another, one bit at a time.(8 bits = 1 byte)

yow ropy, u were on a roll man, i think 3 or 4 in a row, but it just ended, sorry man :)

Answer: B - One bit at a time

Explanation: Well, right off the bat you can cancel out A and C because there is only one answer to this question and A and C are the same amount of data! Normal RS-232 communication is serial standard and transmits at 1 single bit at a time. Parallel totally revolutionized this transfer because of it's ability to transfer 1 bit at a time over 8 "parallel" cables. Hence the name. So, parallel would be the connection that transfers 8 bits at one time.

Tidbit: Did you know that all networking communication is serial???? Well, it is until the data gets to the network card itself. From there on, it's parallel!!!

i didnt realised that this quiz had passed 24hrs oops :o ;D
