Reliant and Infochannel

Do you know anything about Reliant Communications or Info Channel and what they are planning?

Infochannel is an ISP which owns part of Reliant Communications, a newly formed (launched today) telecommunications company. Steve Twomey, fomerly of C&W mobile division also has an interest in the new company.

From what I understand, Reliant will be primarily a voice telecom company offering various voice telecom solutions to other telecom retailers and consumers. What this basically means is that they will have a major telecom link (satellite) which they will then re-sell to other companies wanting international voice service to sell to customers.

This is basically what I've understood them to be doing. I guess that we'll have to wait for the press release for the accurate story ;D
