I am a newbie to the site and I need help!! I am trying to connect to the CW gprs service using my computer and a Sony ericsson T316, has anyone ever used this phone to do that as a matter of fact has anyone ever logged on to CW gprs using a computer?? Any time i type in the ip address i get an "gprs parameters unsupported" on the phone, and if i dont i get server not assigning ip address error while the gprs on the phone works fine??? HELP!!!
#2 I would probably prefer to unlock this phone to use on digicel and i have an infrared port? I hear i still am gonna need the cable and if so where can i get it?

c&w has to support mms..find out if they do..they will give u the setings..rmember mms has to pass through thier system and if they dont support it...u wont be able to use it :)

Everybody ignoring the person who start this thread eh star!
First things first, i assume since its C&W that u've signed up for GPRS that get with bfree plus, not bfree. Next, u shouldn't enter an IP address for the connection. No username or password either. The APN is internet. I hear that if u use the IR connection then u dont need software. The dialup number to connect is *99***1# where 1 is the CID# of the settings in the phone. I hope this helps u pdiddy551

i think that could be because the post was early May and the next post was october 31 so it might b reasonable to think that the prob was resolved. just my 2 cents.

yo u ever find that after a while ur phone stops responding when ur connected for a very long time. Its happened to me and i have to take out the battery and put it in back to get it going again. my data cable charges the phones as soon as it discharges a little. could that be the cause?
