ok do we need to compare most of the ppl just say ps3 when they have never even seen 1 i have both consoles(dont want a wii) and my xbox 360 elite is wayy better without a doubt. besides if you ppl didnt know some of the ps3's games are ported from the 360 so u might wanna think about what u say about graphics.:P

The problem with this comparison is that

1) ps3 is basically next gen
2) xbox360 is basically current gen

Now before unno start complain and chat all the crap. Check what i'm saying - The ps3 is using next gen hardware (cell processors etc) which is completely new technology... WHEREAS the 360 is using hardware that is basically just top of the line versions of existing technology.

Now what happens because of this is that, because the ps3 is too new, most programmers dont want to bother programming for the ps3. Its a new and very complexed system that most programmers will have to 're-learn' their already 'perfect' systems. This simply means (and it has been showed time and time again) that the ps3 isnt using up half of its capabilities as yet. Unlike the 360 which is fully utilizing every single bit. Therefore the 360 will be showing better gfx than the ps3 (in some parts), however in exclusive games we will see a major rise in graphical performance (for the ps3) in comparison to games which have been ported across systems. Therefore really and truly there is no fair comparison of graphical performance.

However, the fact remains, ps3 has the better more advanced technology and therefore has better gfx. But because of the challenge to the programmers we wont see it. Wait for a GT5 vs Forza 2(or 3) comparison to really see graphical performance...

Oh, btw $ony ****ed the devs with the crazy small amount of ram on one of the buses. It is making some advanced stuff a PAIN in the *** to do. When you under time constraints this is a problem.

Yes the devs are too lazy to do the work which is the limitation of the ps3. The tech is there but nobody using it.

My 360 was unda A/C and still got the RROD, fixed it using the penny trick and upgraded the fan and case and now i am back in action.

I Had Both A Ps3 And A 360. In My Opinion The Ps3 Has Better Graphics. Most Of The 360 Gameplay Is Very Dark.

yes semi, I've repeated this many times, this is probably the only reason the 360 seems to be doing better in sales. Check the thread pezz made bout the new 60gb 360, almost all xbox owners in there say dem go thru 2 aready an dem might get it as them 3rd.
