NCB has been in the news a lot lately. Here is one of the latest ventue they will attempt

This is the same Lee Chin who got in fire with some overseas owned local entities for suggestign that they should reinvest profits here ratehr than send it out of the country.

This sounds like a noble idea and move on Lee Chin's part.

Think about it though. It's more than likely cheaper to build and maintain the training centre here than in Canada. There is also more staff to be trained here than in the other two companies so transporting the smaller number of staff to where the larger number of staff reside is cheaper. Also, when you temporarily mix staff from different companies especially from different countries, you get a cross-fertilization/sharing of culture, ideas, etc which will do all the companies some good.

So imho - it's a good move that everybody benefits from - Jamaica, NCB, AIC, Berkshire and of course Lee Chin, who'll probably get some medal from the Gov't in the near future :D .
