I'm looking for a good piece of software to catalog my CDs. Any suggestions from experience would be appreciated. So far I've tried and like the trial version of Music Label 2003 (http://www.codeaero.com/musiclabel/index.html) but I'm looking for additional choices before locking in on a particular one.

GodKid: does iTunes really have the functionality of Music Label 2003? I'm not talking about cataloging MP3s, but regular audio CDs.

Deakie: looking forward to what your friend has

This looks good deakie, with more functionality than the one I had mentioned.

had a look at what he had and was impressed never the less. even though its only ver 1.61......so 2.21 must be just additional fluff as they do when upgrading versions of softy....if it does the job then hey.....

damn we are all techies here (I think) why dont you just create one. Get an open-source starter from http://pscode.com, modify it and relese it to your Jamaican breathrens. stop giving all your money to the US economy and send some back to Yard. 8)

I agree. Unfortunately I'm not a programmer so I rely on what's already developed :-\

Your suggestion is a good one and one that needs to be taken up by our programmers.

try this free open-source version. I ironed out some of the bugs but It still has some left. conditions apply though.

I just downloaded it but forgive me for asking a stupid question ... how do you install it? Do you copy it into a single folder? ???

once you unzip it you will get both the source code and a build that I did (a *.exe file) just run the exe file to see the software in action, if you get an error let me know the error number that was raised.

remember it is good practice to always scan all files you get off the web for bugs.
