Does anyone know how to set the default browser and email client on XP on a per user account basis?

It seems if I set the Mozilla browser to be the default browser, it sets it for ALL users who log on to the computer. I want it to be my default browser for my user account. The same goes for the email client.

I know about that section in the add/remove programs. I didn't really know if it would have done it on a per user basis or for all users. I figured it was all users, since it was in the add/remove programs, where it shows you ALL the programs installed on the computer, and not just the programs the user has installed.

I will try it and see, but I doubt it.

Nope. That didn't work. It set the browser system wide.

I did a google search and found this article: How to Register an Internet Browser or E-mail Client With the Windows XP Start Menu (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/q297/8/78.asp&NoWebContent=1)

That's the closest I came to setting a default browser on a per user basis.

That article says it is possible to set a browser on a per user basis. But you will have to do some registry hacking to accomplish it.
