take it apart. you can find instructions at Dell.com look for the part number, research it on the net. you dont have to buy it from dell. install it yourself. i have done it a couple of times, no hard task.

Have you tried Fujitsu I think the're on Belmont Road the number should be listed. They may be able to recomend you, or you can check the classified ads on this site you may be able to find someone scrapping a Dell.

i have a compac 1200 screen wit the same size. perhaps it can work. u could take out the screen and fit it into the dell latitude screen case.
