Microsoft is under pressure.
Sounds as if it was a known weakness for which no patch had been written.

Well....
Microsoft has to step up on their stuff else alot of other people gonna be taking them to court.
You know much people could have taken them to court for Sobig and blaster.
Blaster may not seem much to home users but major servers did feel its wrath.

I think it's rather unfair to blame IE for this (wow... :o, did I just say that??)
Valve should look into their server security overall than pointing the finger at IE. Besides, if the code was being "secured" on a windows box...what do you expect?? Not even M$ can secure their code ;D

Actually, I think home users felt it just as badly and probably even worse than companies. Many companies had antivirus and firewalls that protected them...poor auntie Jean logging on to email her sister in fareign neva know anything about protecting her PC.

as you know the theif slammed the code onto the net....but hear me...rumours have it that there are some hackers who are pissed at this as they love the games these boyz produce and so they are lookin for revenge.......if the company goes bust over this then it will be a sad day in gaming......to this end, that thief better stays of the net.....though he has already made one boast, from now he better shut it....
