Nintendo should just stay out of this competition until they are ready to swim in deep waters. I was just looking at G4 and they were dicussing all three consoles, when Nintendo was presented I was impressed at how small it was, their president claimed they they have lots more to reveal (i don't think they do). once again Nintendo is using all the classic games to sell their console. Nintendo is as boring as gaming gets.

cipher that's your opinion but Mario is going to be better than Metal Gear Solid or Halo anyday. You have to come to that reality. The joy we used to get out of playing those games can only be relived with a nintendo. However I think Nintendo is going to make you eat your words. They are going to get new games just you watch.

i would have 2 agree cuz even tho xbox and ps2 had hype games the one and 2 games played on gamecube 2 me were better than the xbox and ps2 games like smash and mario go-kart need i say more...

i don't know if it's because i'm a nintendo fanboy or what but i lost all respect for g4tv today. i have to watch todays broadcast over again before i make my statemnet final. i just thought they downplayed anything nintendo, i really feel they exhibited a lack of professional journalism. maybe it's the setup of the show but it became fairly obvious that each individual is biased towards a certain system, they should be covering the event not stating their opinions. i'll stop rambling for now, when is the repeat?

well i hear the revolution control not revealed yet because they want to have games on system to display first.
the controls are reported to be wireless touchscreen, and if they do make this happen i see where alot of posts here are gonna change.
i say nintendo need to stay in the competition. atleast they do wat the others dont every single time around and that is do wat they do best. make small, lightwieght game consoles that go for game experience not graphics. not saying though that their gamecube didnt pack a graphic punch. i loved playing metroid, ssx and smash bros ... the difference from 64 days was clear.
and i am sure they'll dop the same again.
with the most innovative control in console gaming to date. and more so the best launch day price. everyone here wants to wait till a price drop and with the revolution u dont have to. the day its out, u buy it and get 4 games and a control for the same price estimated 360 and ps3 launched consoles would be.

I was wondering about the controller because thats a pretty important part of it. The only thing I hated about the gamecube controller was that it was rpg only - you couldn't play street fighter or sf like fighting games on it because of where the analog stick was. I would suggest that they use playstation's controller (isn't possible but you can dream)

Well from watching E3 P3 blew everyone out off the water, made the xbox 360 look like crap, paper weight. P3 rocks!!! INSANE!

i wanna see some games being shown star, i hate the xbox wasnt being played instead of shown ... it leave space for a shady kinda feel about the console.
but im sure it'll be worth it.
i jus wanna see the revolution controller though.
i think their ds? had that whole touchscreen play so we know they have this touchscreen capability.
imagine zelda (a game ppl not mentioning and forgetting about as great titles to launch with) touchscreen control. cool thought aint it? then metroid, and smash bros. and mario kart and all dat jazz.
im really excited to see wat revolution can do. cus since n64 theirs always been a game on nintendo that can keep u interested for days, weeks, years. (goldeneye, smash bros, wcw revenge, etc.)

Yes its on G4, they have a 2 hour special everyday at 7pm eastern which I think I is 6pm our time, Then you can catch the repeat at 1am in the morning on G4.

by my guess nintendo could release a system with half the power of the other systems in order to keep the initial cost low and still make pretty good games with it. really now how much graphics hardware do you need to make a good game? answer not a lot. what nintendo needs is big disc space.

Sure the ps3 might be the most powerful of the three consoles. A mean, I saw
a preview of a game on G4techtv called killzone for the ps3 and wow. Never have I seen such graphics and cinematics. They even mentioned that games
like these may go for the price of $70 or more. :eusa_shif

Well so far, the new feature I like with the revolution that i've heard is it's backward compatability.

So all dem people that still have dem nes, snes and 64 cartridges, and no console
can play them all on the Nintendo Revolution.

Nope. Not entirely real. The black colour look righted, but the shape is not
what I glimpsed on G4. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Well, from what I saw on tv, they mentioned that the revolution will be able to play old nintendo console games, but no mention was made of it going to have its own games as yet. Can bet sey most people who eva own N64 still have dem catridges, whether dem gathering dust, or in a box in the closet and if dem get a revolution when it release and try play di cartridges on it, it work fine after blowing out di cartidges. But if a did cds now, (eg. psone) it probably scratch or break or get mildewed by that time...

I guess I mixed up the release dates, as I was playing San Andreas while watching G4 at the time. :)
