I loved Phantom Dust. It reminds me of Final Fantasy in so many ways, just without the turn based battle system. It's everything the battle System in Final Fantasy should be if you ask me. It is simply the most addictive game I've ever played since... well... Final Fantasy X... yeah! (circa 2000!) I just could not put it down. I really hope they make a sequel. Judging by the end of the story, it seems unlikely, but not impossible. Online play is a blast. Anime lovers, git yer fill! This game is wicked sick! http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y142/xenocrates/Smilies/2thumbs.gif

Good:
- Semi-decent story
- Awesome destructible environments
- Great graphics, beautifully rendered environments
- Physics engine rawks!
- Ridiculously addictive gameplay
- User defined battle styles, hence, excellent replay value
- Classical music remixes
- Online play is bloody fun!

Bad:
- Tedious story progression
- Warped anime caricatures
- Much too short for such an intensely addictive game
- Target Lock contributes many moments of ackwardly frustrating gameplay

Perplexing:
- What were they thinking when they came up with the design for the target lock? wtf?

Tilt:
Gameplay: 10/10
Sound: 8/10
Graphics: 9/10
Replay: 9/10

Score: 9 / 10

was goin to get that game like a month ago then i read the review and it said it had a weird button configuration. i think they said u had top press left on the D-pad to jump.

So xeno how comes u dont give jade empire a review

- Modified for the reading impaired! :icon_mrgr

- Lies. The only weird configuration is pressing down on the left joystick to jump. This provides for a very ackward situation when you're frantically running away from a fast moving attack, only to jump instead. Of course, when you're in the air, you're an easier target for long range attacks.

I can't review a game I haven't finished. There's no way I'd be able to give an objective review of it. I could review Halo 2, but I'm sure you've read a million and one reviews for that already. Halo 2 is pretty damn addictive. Toting two weapons at once just NEVER gets old. :D
