Does Console gaming really damage you TV???

If so what type of TV do you use or would suggest?

only when you leave the picture on hold, then you get burn outs...thats why. the electron beam sits on the pixel non stop. not very good if you have intense and bright spots sitting there.thats why.
this occurs if the map doesnt move around a lot but stays the same. true of white menus and borders.
switch channel for a bit to give the pixel a rest and go get a drink. 8)

Bwoyy, i not sure still, probably wat deakie is saying is true still. But i personally dont know, i guess you could try plasma tv. it should solve most problems

I not too sure that consoles can damage a crt tv, but any still image will certainly damage a plasma tv in no time.

it had some efect on older televisions. but now a days the most that'll happen is that the colors will get fussy. how ever this take about 3 or 4 years. Probably if the tv was made before 1990 then it'd be more at risk.
