i got a question for you phone phreaks ;D
if i buy a multi gsm phone, and say, use it in a different country by just buying their sim, will i keep the same number? or will they give me a new one for the country? ???

new sim new number (most times) .... however you should be able to keep old SIM and roam.. just that it'd be expensive

Not in all cases. It depends strongly on your provider. For Digicel or Cwj GSM it would be expensive, but here in the USA if i travel with my phone Sprint will give me a jamaican local number as well as keeping my US number for the one sim!
